Statistics
REINZ are proud to be able to supply members, media and the general public with monthly statistics press releases. The statistics in these press releases come from our member companies who kindly supply their data to REINZ each month.
The statistics give an up to date account of the previous month’s activity in the New Zealand real estate market. REINZ produces three regular press releases covering residential, rural and lifestyle statistics

Resources
At REINZ we aim to provide as much information as possible to buyers and sellers and to our members. We have put together helpful information and useful tools and phone numbers from other industry bodies. It is important to note that REINZ is not the regulatory body for the industry. This role is that of the REA. However, REINZ does promote best practice and works to upskill members so they can provide top service to buyers and sellers.
AML compliance
From 1 January 2019, all real estate agents across New Zealand will have new obligations under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Financing of Terrorism Act.
