On 24 June 2025, REINZ has filed submission on the Draft Information Privacy Principle (IPP) IPP3A guidance prepared by the Office of Privacy Commissioner (OPC). REINZ has been actively monitoring the IPP3A privacy reform to ensure indirect notification requirements remain workable across the full data chain. We have reviewed the draft guidance focusing on the practical implications for REINZ and our members, particularly in terms of the sharing of unconditional property sales data.
