Our Members work in a variety of roles. However, they have a common thread of either selling, leasing, renting, or managing property in the residential market, rural sector, commercial and industrial sector, or in business broking.

We encourage you to use the designations where possible, as a privilege of membership.
Your real estate licence is managed by the REA – manage your licence here.
Speak with your branch manager or administrator – they will need to contact us via [email protected] with a request to transfer you to their agency membership.
Agency membership is the most common REINZ membership. However, individual membership is sometimes awarded to individuals who have made a significant contribution to the Institute and the real estate profession. You can learn more about the different types of membership here.
