REINZ held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, 25 November 2025. During the meeting, we were pleased to announce the appointment of our new Region Three Director, and to award Life Membership to one of our long-standing members.
The AGM is held each year to reflect on the organisation’s achievements and challenges, and to provide members with an update on our strategic priorities and direction. It’s an opportunity to review the past year’s highlights, discuss REINZ’s ongoing initiatives to support the profession, and ensure that our work continues to align with the needs of our members.
It also serves as a forum for members to ask questions, provide feedback, and engage directly with the Board, helping shape the future of REINZ.
REINZ has welcomed a new Director for Region Three, covering Hawke’s Bay, Manawatu/Whanganui, Taranaki, and Wellington, following the resignation of Andy Stewart, effective 31 May 2025. After a voting process, Holly Fordham (AREINZ) was confirmed as the successful candidate and formally announced at the AGM.
Life Membership was granted to Mark Sumich (AREINZ).
"We’re delighted to welcome Holly Fordham, recently elected as our new Region Three Director, a role that reflects the trust and confidence of our members and the Board,” says REINZ Chief Executive, Lizzy Ryley.

Regional Director
Following the resignation of Andy Stewart as Region Three Director effective 31 May 2025, Holly Fordham was voted in and announced as the successful candidate at the AGM.
Holly Fordham, the new Region Three Director, has worked for over 20 years in real estate and has seen the industry evolve through shifts in regulation, professionalism, gender balance, technology, and now the rapid rise of AI. As Managing Director and co-owner of Harcourts Team Group, she leads a business that spans Wellington, the Hutt Valley, Porirua, Kāpiti and Levin. Her work takes her from boardrooms to living rooms — just as likely to be involved in securing a listing or advising a salesperson as she is making strategic decisions for the wider business.
She is known for balancing commercial acumen with genuine care and for leading through collaboration, transparency, and shared values. Her experience across diverse markets ensures she can speak on behalf of the whole region, not just one segment of it. Holly Fordham’s nomination will ensure Region 3 is strongly represented at REINZ, underpinned by a forward-focused, inclusive outlook, grounded in the realities of the industry
