The October 2023 figures show more sales activity, more listings coming to market, fewer days to sell and a sense of more confidence overall (year-on-year).

The August 2023 figures show a continued rise in sales counts across New Zealand. August also saw market activity slowly beginning to rise as we get closer to spring and optimism continues to grow in the property market.

REINZ Monthly House Price Index - October 2023

Year-on-year, the HPI indicates that housing market value nationwide has fallen 2.5%, down in Auckland by 2.5% and down outside Auckland by 2.4%.

REINZ Monthly House Price Index - August 2023

Year-on-year, the HPI indicates that housing market value nationwide has fallen 4.7%, down in Auckland by 5.3% and down outside Auckland by 4.4%.
