The NZ Certificate in Residential Property Management (Level 4) runs over 12 months, with four face-to-face workshop sessions held in Auckland.
This qualification provides a pathway for people intending to develop a higher level of expertise in the sector. It also recognises the achievement of relevant knowledge and skills of those who are already employed in the sector. You’ll take part in engaging workshops, delivered by industry experts, providing valuable 'real-world' input, to support you thrive as a Residential Property Manager.

Entry Requirements
There is no mandatory prerequisite for this qualification.
We recommend that learners who are not currently employed in the sector complete the Beginners Guide to Residential Property Management first. While optional, it provides a strong foundation — and if you purchase the course, the cost can be credited towards your qualification fees.

Provide verified/certified ID
Submit one of the following verified/certified documents:
- NZ Passport or NZ Birth Certificate OR
- Overseas passport plus NZ Resident Class Visa
Certifying or Verifying Documents
Copies of your documents can be certified by any of the following:
- Justice of the Peace
- Lawyer
- Court Official, such as a Court Registrar or Deputy Registrar
- Notary Public
