Debt Collection Expert and director of Credit Control on Call, Leanne Powley, will share some useful tips to save you time when chasing up those unpaid debts.
Janine Tan from the REINZ legal team will lead a session on Tribunal Case studies on portable cabins - what you need to consider before giving consent to a tenant, including insurance and council implications.
Jodine Clark, Head of Harcourts NZ Property Management, will cover discrimination so you understand the various forms of discrimination and will provide valuable knowledge to ensure tenants experience fair and equal treatment.
Diane Nelson, expert speaker on insurance, will discuss property manager's obligations to the owner in terms of their insurance cover, examples of where things have gone wrong, unsuccessful claims, potential liability and ways you can avoid this happening.
NZ Police, back by popular demand we will hear from the Police about situations where we need to step back as property managers and get the Police involved.
Jo Rae, the Head of REINZ Property Management, will provide an update on the regulation of property managers and how that will impact you, and a general update on REINZ education and training courses for property managers.
